Hard wax beans are the closest thing to painless waxing! We are breaking the stigma that painful waxing can only be done at the salon. Salon soft wax removes a layer of your skin causing the redness & pain. Razors and shaving create bumps on your skin.
Hard wax is a special kind of wax that only sticks to your hairs and not on your skin - this allows for a less painful experience. Recommended by Jeanette Zinno, Concetta Cassella, and the ASCP (Associated Skin Care Professionals) highly advocate hard wax beans!
It is so easy that anyone can do it from the comfort of their own home! Simply warm the wax, spread it on your skin, and pull! Reveal flawless skin without the use of messy wax strips!

How it Works
Waxing beans are made of a special formula that ensures the removal of 98.76% hairs and yet it is sensitive enough to be compatible with all skin types. Hairs are removed from the roots for longer-lasting results.
The hard wax never sticks to your skin. Hair regrowth becomes softer and results last longer than other forms of hair removal.
On the other hand, salon soft wax sticks to your skin. When removing the wax, a layer of your skin is also removed causing the redness that happens when you visit salons!
There are 3 methods to melt the wax:
- Place the beans in a microwave-friendly utensil
- Place the beans in a heat-friendly bowl and melt the wax on the cooking stove
- Place the beans in the BrowsPop Heat Wax Machine
- Place the beans (as much as needed, depending on which areas you are waxing) in a microwave-friendly utensil.
- After about 4-7 mins (keep checking on it), the beads should melt completely and become like a honey-like consistency
- Clean the skin and apply a thin layer of wax using the sticks, along the direction of the hair growth
- After about 20 seconds, quickly pull up wax against the direction of hair growth
- Apply skin moisturizer afterward
How are you supposed to melt the wax?
Melt the wax until it turns into a liquid that as a honey-like consistency.
Microwave: If you are using a microwave, place the wax in the microwave-friendly bowl. Depending on the strength of your microwave, it can take 4-5 minutes or less.
Stove: Place the wax beans in a bowl. Take a cooking vessel or pot and place 1 cup of water in the pot. Place the smaller bowl that is filled with the waxing beans in the cooking pot. Make sure the water level is low. It will take 5 minutes to melt to a honey-like consistency.
BrowsPop Waxing Machine: Place the beads in the machine and set the temperature to the desired level.
Which areas of the body can I wax?
Waxing beans can safely be used for hair removal on various areas of the body – these include legs, arms, underarms, bikini, eyebrows, face (for women), chest, and back. When in doubt (and sometimes even when you’re fairly certain), it is always advisable to do a patch test, to gauge skin sensitivity and the suitability of the wax.
Is it painful?
While pain is subjective and depends on each individual’s pain threshold, the DIY waxing beads can minimize the pain to a great extent using the correct technique. Also, since the wax attaches itself only to the hairs and not the skin, it is nowhere as nearly as painful as soft wax.
What are these waxing beans made off?
There are 3 key ingredients – rosin (a resin extracted from coniferous plants such as pine trees), beeswax (purified wax from bees’ honeycombs), and EVA copolymer (a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate, which gives wax beads their pliability and clinginess).
How long do the results last?
A properly done wax can last from anywhere between 4 to 6 weeks. However, how long your wax lasts also depends on a number of factors such as individual traits and hair regrowth patterns, where your hair was in the hair regrowth cycle when it was waxed, and the regularity/frequency of your waxes.
